How come our service is so cheap?

We realised that not everyone needs to pay for a website to be designed from scratch. Don't get us wrong, your website will be unique to your business with everything you require, it's just that it may have the same 'feel' as a few other websites (and you or your customers will most likely never come across them!). This is how we keep the costs to an absolute minimum. We use website design templates we have previously made or purchased (1000's available). We then use these as the foundation for creating your very own bespoke website. This vastly cuts down the design time and hence costs are kept to an absolute minimum.

Why pay hundreds, or thousands even, for a design service that ends up reproducing pretty much what's already available! Not only that, we will also publish, host and support your site for you. Our service is All Inclusive as standard!

 

Questions & Answers

How many pages can my website have?

Our standard package has 6 pages, but it is obviously possible to have more if required (approx. 50p per page per month extra). However, if you are only after a very small site you may be interested in a our slightly cheaper option for a website consisting of just a couple of pages. Although this still requires considerable work by us, it does cut down our development and maintenance time so we can offer this for a fixed fee of just £119.95 per year.

What colour schemes do you use?

We have a variety of colour schemes and can vary them to suit your needs.

How do I choose a design?

Usually we will try to find one that suits your needs but you're welcome to suggest one that we can use. Many of our best templates come from a premium design service we use, Template Monster (this is where our site design is from). Other good sources to browse for ideas are Flash Mint or Dream Template. If you see a design which you would like us to modify for you just let us know.

I've seen a design I like but the pictures are all wrong. Can these be changed?

Of course. You can supply or suggest your own pictures or we can source some suitable ones for you. If we find them for you there is usually a small copyright fee to pay, typically around £2 per picture.

Can I sell products on my site?

Obviously you can promote anything you like (within reason), but as our service is primarily for small business services we do not incorporate a 'shopping trolley' option. The ability to sell products online requires a much more complex solution. If you intend opening an online shop then you will need a specialist service which we do not currently provide. However, should you require a 'shopping trolley' solution (eCommerce), then we can thoroughly recommend Sitewizard, for which we have obtained a 10% discount on their services (Use discount code WIZ1589 or follow this link - Sitewizard.co.uk)

What will my website say?

No one knows your business like you do so, although we can suggest a broad outline and possible wording, this is the one area we must rely on you to tell us what to publish.

I don't think my English is good enough to write a website!

Once again, there's no need to worry. As a matter of course we will take your wording and check it for any spelling or grammar corrections we believe should be made. We will suggest any corrections and submit them to you for approval. We're sure you'll agree that we work to a very high standard.

I already have a company logo, can I use that?

Absolutely. Send us your logo and we will use it to promote your image.

What if I don't like the design?

We aim to make the whole process very easy for you but you will have complete approval rights. We will send you drafts for approval throughout the whole process. Ultimately, if you don't like what we have produced you won't be charged!

I need to update some information on the site, how do I do this?

Don't worry about having to get technical! As our service is a fully supported one we will do the updates for you. To keep the costs down for everyone, typically we would ask that the site not be updated more than once a month, but no reasonable request will be ignored. Fair expectations all round is all we ask.

If you know how to, and wish to manage the updates yourself, that's no problem either. We use the best user interface around, cPanel, which you will have access to.
